Effective date: October 10, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to plumbing services provided by DH Plumbing Service (“DH Plumbing,” “we,” “us”) and to your use of dhplumbingservice.com. By requesting an estimate, scheduling service or using this website, you agree to these terms. If anything on your written quote or invoice differs from these terms, the written quote or invoice controls for that job.
1. Who We Are
DH Plumbing Service is a licensed and insured, owner-operated plumbing company led by Dave Hurtado, California Contractor License #1069074. We are based in Murrieta, CA 92562 and serve Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Winchester, Menifee and surrounding communities in Southwest Riverside County. You can reach us by call or text at 760-586-8893 or by email at info@dhplumbingservice.com.
2. Services Covered
These terms cover the services we offer, including:
- Water heater repair, replacement, installation and maintenance for tank and tankless units, including our water heater flush service
- Plumbing repair, such as leaks, clogs, slab leaks, pressure problems and repipes
- Pipe inspection and service analysis, including video camera inspection, pressure testing, leak detection and thermal imaging
- Water filtration, water softening and drinking-water systems
- Smart water monitoring, including leak sensors and automatic shutoff valves
- Fixture installation, including faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, showerheads and tubs
3. Estimates and Quotes
Information you send through our Online Estimate Form, by phone, by text or by email is a request for service. It is not a binding agreement until we confirm the scope and price with you.
Any price we give before seeing the job is an estimate. We give you a clear quote before work starts. If we find conditions that could not be seen beforehand, such as hidden damage, corroded or failing pipes, or work that is not up to code, we stop, explain what we found and get your approval on any change in scope or price before continuing.
4. Pricing and Promotions
Prices depend on the job, the parts required and access to the work area. Our $75 water heater flush special includes cleaning the system, cleaning the inlet filter screen, using a blower to remove dust and debris from the housing, and inspecting valves for proper operation. Parts, repairs or additional services found to be needed during a flush are quoted separately and are only performed with your approval.
Promotional pricing applies only to the service described, may change over time, and is confirmed when you book. Advertised prices do not include permit fees, parts or work outside the described service unless stated.
5. Scheduling, Access and Your Responsibilities
Same-day service is often available but cannot be guaranteed. To help us complete your job safely and on time, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate contact details, the service address and a description of the problem
- Give us safe, clear access to the work area, water heater, shutoff valves and fixtures
- Keep pets secured and let us know about any known hazards on the property
- Tell us about known leaks, past repairs or conditions that may affect the work
- Have an adult available to approve the quote and any changes in scope
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call or text us as early as possible. Any cancellation or trip charge that applies will be stated on your quote before you book.
6. Payment
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due when the work is completed. Accepted payment methods and the final amount are shown on your invoice. Approved changes in scope are added to the invoice at the price you approved.
7. Permits and Building Codes
Some work requires a permit, including most water heater replacements in California. When a permit is required, we let you know before work begins and include any permit fees on your quote. We perform work to applicable California plumbing code requirements, including earthquake strapping on water heater installations.
8. Products, Manufacturer Warranties and Workmanship
We work with manufacturers such as Bradford White, Rheem, Rinnai, Navien and TOTO. Equipment and fixtures we install are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty according to that manufacturer’s terms. Some manufacturers require product registration within a set time, and we will tell you when that applies.
Any workmanship guarantee from DH Plumbing is provided in writing on your quote or invoice. No other warranty is implied unless it is stated in writing.
9. Existing Conditions
Older pipes, valves, fittings and fixtures can fail during normal handling because of age, corrosion or prior installation. We point out at-risk components when we see them and recommend options before we proceed. DH Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden damage or code violations that existed before our work, or for damage resulting from conditions we recommended correcting and you chose not to address.
10. Emergencies
If you smell gas, leave the building immediately and call 911 or your gas utility from a safe location. For a burst pipe or major leak, shut off your main water valve and then call or text us at 760-586-8893.
11. Communications
When you submit our Online Estimate Form or contact us, you agree that we may call, text or email you about your request, your appointment and the work we perform. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can tell us at any time if you prefer a different way to be contacted. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
